Full & Part-time Female Support Worker

£11.50 per hour

£189 for sleep duties this is based on three per month

We are looking for a full-time support worker to support a young lady living in her own home who has Oppositional defiance Disorder and Global Delay.

*For the purpose of the advert we will refer to the young lady as Hannah

Hannah lives in Whitchurch Shropshire which is in walking distance of the Town centre with a wide variety of amenities such as shops, theatre, local green areas/parks, train station and public transport.

This vacancy is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for a new challenge working in a person-centred positive behaviour organisation. The role is to provide 1:1 support with no personal care required.

About You:

Essential Requirements:

  • Full UK Manual Driving licence with business insurance
  • Caring and passionate about supporting people to live a happy and fulfilled life
  • A good communicator and be able to listen
  • The ability to stay calm and adapt to changes in situations. .

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience of working with LD
  • Experience of lone working
  • Experience of supported living in the community
