We have an exciting new opportunity in the Market Drayton area for an Assistant Service Manager who can share in Bethphage’s values. As the Assistant Service Manager you will provide high quality support to adults with learning disabilities and Autism. You will ensure they are supported to develop and maintain their independence and take part in community activities, leisure, education and work opportunities in a person-centred approach.

The role will involve you supporting the Service Manager to lead the day-to-day management of three supported living services, providing effective team management for people with learning disabilities and Autism. You will ensure your teams provide high quality support to develop and maintain the supported people’s independence, take part in community activities, leisure, education and work opportunities of the person’s choice.  

Sleep ins, weekend and bank holiday work may be required. You will be required to be on-call for this role (Shared with other assistant managers throughout the company). Further information can be discussed at interview stage.

About You:

Essential Requirements:

  • Level Two diploma in Health and Social Care
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within the care sector
  • Driver with UK manual licence and own car
  • Have an understanding of Person-Centred Planning
  • Previous experience working with Positive Behaviour Support
  • Experience of working with people with Learning disabilities and Autism
  • Experience managing medication
  • Need to be flexible, to work shifts and manage admin hours
  • Confident in IT knowledge/skills/systems
  • Participating in the on-call Rota is a requirement.
  • Ability to manage workload

Desirable Requirements

  • Level three diploma in Health and Social Care
