Leave a Legacy/Gift
Having a Will in place gives you peace of mind and ensures that you look after your loved ones when the time comes. It is also an opportunity to support a charity that you feel passionately about. We understand that your loved ones come first. After you’ve taken care of the people closest to you, a small percentage of whatever is left of your estate could make a huge difference to our charity. Legacies and Gifts are very important to us because we are an independent voluntary and charitable organisation – your generous donations can be used to support new initiatives and ideas to create more opportunities for the people we support for example outdoor events, day trips, training, equipment and much more.

Volunteer
Our Volunteers fulfil vital support functions such as directors/trustees, IT, marketing & communications, and administration. We are always keen to hear from people with particular interests or skills including sport, arts and crafts, woodwork, walking and cooking. This type of volunteer input is valuable to the people we support as they gain additional time and benefits from people who have similar interests.
For more information about our volunteer placements, support or training please get in touch.

Bethphage has registered with the Fundraising Regulator to commit to raising funds in an ethical and professional way, observing the Code of Fundraising Practice.
The Code of Fundraising Practice sets out the responsibilities that apply to fundraising carried out by charitable institutions and third-party fundraisers in the UK. For the purposes of the code, fundraising means to ask for money or other property for charitable, benevolent or philanthropic purposes, and it covers a wide range of fundraising methods.
The code aims to:
- promote a consistent, high standard of fundraising;
- make sure charitable institutions, their governing bodies and fundraisers know what is expected of them;
- set out the standards to use when considering complaints;
- provide a benchmark for organisations and fundraisers to assess their practices against so they can identify necessary training and monitor and set policy priorities for their fundraising; and
- develop a culture of honesty, openness and respect between fundraisers and the public.
Bethphage will adopt all of these principles in each of its fundraising activities.
“We found that people were treated with dignity and respect. One person told us they liked the peace and quiet and didn’t want staff with them all the time. We observed the staff team delivering and withdrawing support to them as they requested.”
