You may have seen in our recent posts that Helen Nickless will be taking over the reins from Stef Kay as the new Chief Executive Officer of Bethphage on the 1st of April. To congratulate both Stef and Helen, Linda Timmons from Mosaic sent two beautiful flower bouquets .
Mosaic and Bethphage’s relationship dates back to our origins in 1994. Mosaic, based in the USA was originally our parent company, when our CEO Donna Werner first founded Bethphage in 1994. While we soon became a a free-standing UK organisation, Mosaic have continued to be a member of Bethphage and an excellent supporter of everything we do. We are so lucky to have Mosaic to still be involved and interested, thank you Linda!
We enjoyed a drop in session yesterday at our head office with staff and people we support visiting to say goodbye to Stef. We wish Stef all the best on her retirement!
Stef Kay commented:
‘I would like to thank everyone for their kind words and well wishes. It was lovely to have so many people join us at head office to say goodbye.
On Helen’s appointment as CEO, Stef continued:
‘It’s excellent news for Bethphage to have someone of Helen’s calibre and experience take the helm, she has been a great asset in the role of Head of Operations and I am pleased to be leaving the organisation in safe, person-centred hands.’
Helen Nickless said:
‘I am thrilled and honoured to take on the role of CEO after working as Head of Operations for the past five years. I look forward to continuing to work with our excellent EMT team to lead Bethphage in the coming years, drawing on my experience and perspective as both a professional and a parent carer. The values and mission of our charity are deeply meaningful to me, and I am incredibly proud of the work we do.
I have learned so much from Stef, whose leadership and vision has had a tremendous impact on me and the organisation, and I am committed to continuing the great work she has done and building on her legacy.
As we move forward, we are entering new and exciting times, poised for further growth and innovation. We will continue to support people with high quality person centred services and make a positive impact on our community.’
