24 Hour “Exercise-athon” Challenge…

Two local young women, Katie Thorman and Molly Jones have decided to test their fitness to the limit with a mega 24 hour challenge of exercise including walking, jogging, cycling and 3 live exercises streamed over Facebook and Instagram for anyone who would like to take part…

Plus, there will be an opportunity to enter a raffle for anyone who donates £5.00.

Both girls wanted to raise money for charities close to their hearts.  They will be raising funds for Bethphage and The Salvation Army.

The Exercise-athon will commence at 0700 hours on the 14.12.2020 and finish on 15.12.2020 at 0700 hours.

If you would like to take part in any of their classes and donate – please visit Kettlebell KT or MJ Sports Therapy on Facebook or Instagram:

Katie Thorman – Kettlebell KT – Fitness & Nutrition Coach and Molly Jones – MJ Sports Therapy said:

“We will be raising this money towards Bethphage’s Fitness Project to help both their staff and the people they support to get fit and healthy through regular exercise in a fun way.  We already know that people with learning disabilities tend to suffer from poorer health than the general population and we are really keen to support their online fitness & nutrition programme by improving their health outcomes.”

Yvette Thorman – Marketing Lead & Charity Fundraiser said:

“We are delighted that Katie and Molly have stepped forward to support our fundraising campaign in the New Year.  We are committed to the well-being of the “People We Support” and the money raised will help develop our online Fitness & Funability Classes.  With Covid-19 rates still high, Bethphage are encouraging all our staff and the people we support to keep healthy by taking regular exercise.  Our online classes will definitely give us the Post Festive Boost we will all need after Christmas!”
