We excited to announce the introduction of a £300 joining bonus for all new employees, as well as a £300 bonus to our existing colleagues to say thank you for all their hardwork over the past two years during the pandemic.
Bethphage’s CEO Stef Kay said,
“The previous two years have been very challenging for the care sector as a whole, however as there is light at the end of the tunnel with both the vaccine and evidence that omicron variant is much weaker than its predecessors: we want to take this opportunity to attract more people into care, including people that may never have considered Support Work before.
Being a Support Worker is such a rewarding and interesting role, no two days are the same. We support people both in their homes and to be integral parts of their communities where they follow their hobbies and interests. This could involve anything from participating in arts and crafts, volunteering or going to watch their favourite football team. For our staff, it is not just a job, it’s a vocation where they really do make a difference. This is why you don’t necessarily need experience to become a support worker, we look for individuals who are compassionate, with good people skills the right values and attitudes and willingness to learn.
As well as the £300 bonus, new recruits will also benefit from competitive terms and conditions and will be fully supported through a comprehensive induction programme. We offer an extensive training programme including care certificate and level 3 diploma in health and social care.
We feel it is important to reward not only new colleagues with a welcome bonus, but we want to thank our existing staff for their hard work and dedication during the pandemic. This is why we will be giving all colleagues £300 thank you bonus.
We have many fantastic, well trained and experienced staff and this is just one way we are able to show our appreciation. This payment is in addition to the money that Local Authorities have recently announced to be given to social care. “
If you are considering a career in care then we would love to hear from you, for more information please call 01743272880 or email recruitment@bethphage.co.uk or visit our Work For Us page.
