About You

Opportunities for support workers don’t come up very often in Telford but there is an exciting opportunity that has presented itself for the right person. Bethphage require a female support worker for a minimum of 20hrs per week to undertake sleep-in duties when required and to work across our existing services that are predominately female services. Duties will include supporting people to undertake their weekly shop, supporting someone to a health appointment or planning a weekly menu together.

As a support worker you will be expected to work with the individual through a person centred approach to ensure the user of the service is at the forefront of decisions that are made. It is advantageous to be able to drive and to have access to a car. You will have regular supervision and be expected to undertake training to ensure you are supporting the people you work with to the best of your ability.

 

This is a non smoking service so applicants must be comfortable not smoking for prolonged periods of time.
