Arden Place Celebrates Their Second Birthday!

Bethphage and Bromford celebrated 2 years since Arden Place opened its doors with a garden party for family and friends.

Arden Place is a Bromford My Place scheme that provides a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a learning disability and/or autism to live in their own, purpose built flat in a supported living setting which gives them independence alongside support from Bethphage to achieve their goals and aspirations.

Claire Parker, Bromford’s Housing Enabler for Arden Place said,

“the people living at Arden Place have developed a great community spirit over the past two years. The success of our celebratory garden party is a great example of this community feel”

As well as offering a modern, self-contained flat for each person, the communal areas have been well utilised with an interactive smart screen in the hub area, used for education, learning and games and there is a large communal garden which hosts the Arden Garden Project.  Arden Garden benefits from recently secured additional grant funding for people to grow their own plants and vegetables and create a relaxing outdoor environment for everyone to enjoy.

Bethphage’s Area Manager Mandy Lees wanted to say:

“thank you to everyone who came to our Arden Place Garden Party, especially to the people we support and our staff who worked so hard to organise the event and make it a success.”

Arden Place has two self contained flats available – if you or someone you know might be interested in moving in to Arden Place or you would like more information then please get in touch by contacting Adrian Smallwood on  07894481167 or emailing asmallwood@bethphage.co.uk
