We are looking to recruit waking night Support Workers to join our fantastic person-centred organisation.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a new challenge in a brand-new service in the Shrewsbury area.
We require dedicated and passionate people to support a 30-year-old male who has learning disabilities. We are looking for individuals who enjoy working within a team to improve this gentleman’s quality of life in a proactive way.
This is an amazing opportunity to be part of a brand-new service from day one and assist the staffing and management team to deliver a high-quality care and make a difference within the service.
The support provided is on a 2:1 basis.
You will need to have good communication skills
Experience in working with severe learning disabilities however training will be provided
Experience in a complex care environment or care setting – extensive shadow shifts provided with the staff team and management
Ability to work pro-actively
Have a passion for positive engagement.

37.5 hours per week.
£9.80 per hour

Everything we do is individually designed to enable people to achieve their potential and meet their objectives and need for support. The people that we support may live in their own home, a home that is shared with other people, their family home or a shared care home.

You will be required to create a team that champions excellent support by actively coaching and modelling respectful positive approaches to achieve the greatest possible independence and quality of life for the people we support, based on an understanding of what is important to and for them.

- Previous experience working with individuals in complex care or experience in care setting (full training will be provided|)
- Level two diploma in Health and Social Care
- Level three diploma in Health and Social Care
- Qualifications in Learning Disability Awareness
- Full UK driving licence
- Own car
