Service Manager- Bradbury Lodge, Whitchurch

We are recruiting for a new manager for our registered care home in Whitchurch; this is an exciting opportunity for someone looking for a new challenge in a Positive Behaviour organisation.

Bradbury Lodge is an assessment and transition unit in Whitchurch where we can support up to 6 adults with learning disabilities.

We are looking for an experienced, friendly, and proactive Registered Manager who will work closely with the Positive Behaviour Support team to promote positive culture in the services. Joining our fantastic person-centred support team in our care home in Whitchurch. This opportunity will give you the satisfaction of ensuring the team are delivering first class support providing you with a new challenge to work in a positive behaviour organisation

You will need to ensure that the service provided is in accordance with the requirements of legislation, the regulators and funders and that relevant records are kept up to date to provide strong evidence of practice.

You will ensure that the area manager is made aware of any matter which could affect the status of the service. You will be instrumental in delivering Bethphage’s vision and mission by ensuring the provision of high quality, person centred services to people using the Bethphage services and you will be responsible for ensuring records, reports and other documents are completed and available for all aspects of the day opportunity and staff team.

You will be required to champion excellent support by actively coaching and role modelling respectful, positive management approaches.

This role will require you to participate in Bethphage’s On Call rota.

The successful applicant will be required to complete a registered manager’s application with CQC.

Essential Requirements

  • Level three diploma / Qualification in Health and Social Care.
  • Good literacy skills
  • An understanding of Person-Centred Planning
  • An understanding of Positive Behaviour Support
  • Good communication skills
  • Previous supervisory experience


Desirable Requirements

  • Level five diploma / Qualification in Health and Social Care.
  • Full UK Drivers Licence
  • Good IT Skills
