We are proud to be able to report that our Head of HR, Rae Evans has been elected Mayor of Telford and Wrekin for 2016/17.
For some time, Rae has combined leadership of our Human Resources services with her community role as a member of Telford and Wrekin council. We are delighted that her abilities have been recognised by election to this important civic role because of the credit and recognition it gives Rae and the opportunity it presents for people to hear more about the work of Bethphage.
Derek Lum, Chair of Trustees said: “The Board are delighted that Rae’s contribution to the council and local community has been recognised in this way. We are certain that the professionalism that Rae brings to all her work will make her period of office a great success.”
Rae was elected at Telford & Wrekin Council’s annual meeting on 26th May, along with the election of Councillor Stephen Reynolds as Deputy Mayor. You can read more about Rae’s election on the news pages of the Telford and Wrekin website at http://newsroom.telford.gov.uk/News/Details/13215
