It was Q Team’s Christmas party last week. Not only were they celebrating Christmas, it was a celebration of their fantastic work over the past seven years for Bethphage.
Q Team Members of past and present attended the party which was also about looking forward to its exciting future in 2018 where Bethphage will build on the successes and structures of Q Team and forge a new partnership with the independent advocacy group, Taking Part.
Bethphage’s Positive Behaviour Support Assistant, Stacey Bourne said, “it was a fun day with lots of singing and laughter. What made it really special for the Q Team was that they got to reconnect with some of the different people who they had visited over the years.”
At the last Q Team session they spent some time reflecting on their Q Team experiences and chose key words to summarise their personal development such as:
They have cemented friendships and are ready for the new partnership by meeting Taking Part’s Business Support Officer, Gill Edmunds who was at the celebration and who will be leading on Q Team’s new instalment for 2018.
