Mental Health Team Leader- Broseley

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Complex Mental Health Service Team Leader in Broseley, near Ironbridge.

Successful applicants will be leading a fantastic small team of support workers to deliver outstanding service to a young gentleman living in his own home.   

The individual we support enjoys carrying out physical activities such as gardening, dog walking, swimming, gym ect. He has a great sense of humor and is very knowledgeable about TV programs, current affairs and sport.


This position is suited to individuals who are committed, patient and dedicated to working as a team to continue to improve this gentleman’s quality of life.  

The post will be working with the team to deliver Person Centered support with some non-contact administration hours.  

The Team Leader will also be part of the management team and will work closely with the Service Manager and Assistant Service Manager. 

The successful candidate will be required to partake in the Bethphage on call rota  

Due to the requirements of the service, female applicants must be over 40.*

Bethphage is a registered charity which was established in 1994 and provides support to adults with learning and physical Disabilities in Shropshire and the West Midlands.

Essential Requirements:

  • Full UK Drivers Licence 
  • Own Car 
  • An understanding of Person-Centered Planning 
  • An understanding of Positive Behaviour Support 
  • To be able to work using own initiative as well as part of a team 
  • Good communication skills 
  • Good literacy skills 

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience of working with people with complex needs and mental health 
  • Level 3 in Health and Social Care 
  • Previous supervisory experience 
  • Good IT Knowledge/Skills
