Following the recent Open Day at our Arden Place in Birmingham, we were delighted to welcome familiar and new faces to find out more about this modern build, supported living scheme, for adults with learning disabilities and\/or Autism in their own tenancies.<\/p>\n

Arden Place is a Bromford<\/a> MyPlace Scheme with support provided by Bethphage<\/a>.<\/p>\n

With purpose built, self-contained, one-bedroom\u00a0flats, communal areas\u00a0including a garden, Arden Place aims to promote\u00a0independence\u00a0for all individuals living there.<\/p>\n

Arden Place\u00a0welcomed\u00a0its first tenants in 2020, that allowed people to take their first steps into\u00a0independent living safely and securely.\u00a0The current 12 residents have settled into their new homes and are enjoying the independence that comes with living at Arden Place.<\/p>\n

All individuals Arden Place are supported by Bethphage in a person-centred way to help maximize their independence. Close to local shops and healthcare facilities, Arden is in a great location, situated in the heart of the community. In addition to the support provided by Bethphage, individuals benefit from having Bromford\u2019s Housing Enabler on site offering housing support:<\/p>\n

Claire Parker \u2013 Bromford\u2019s Housing Enabler said:<\/h3>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s very rewarding to finally see the residents happy settled in their apartments.\u00a0 They all get on so well and enjoy getting together in the communal areas and garden.\u201d<\/p>\n

Adrian Smallwood \u2013 Bethphage Service Manager for the West Midlands said:<\/h3>\n

\u201cThe feedback from everyone at Arden has been amazing but most importantly, this scheme has enabled them to become more independent and there is a real social buzz at Arden Place.\u201d<\/p>\n

We currently have only 2 vacancies left at Arden Place Supported Living in Birmingham and are looking to welcome more people into their new homes this year.\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n
