Bethphage are delighted to be awarded 10 digital devices for some of the people we support<\/span><\/strong>!<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Bethphage recently applied <\/span>for funding <\/span>from the Good Things Foundation <\/span>for the Digital Lifeline Project<\/span> which is an emergency response to get devices, data and digital skills to people with learning disabilities who are digitally excluded.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

This project was supported by Learning Disability England and<\/span>\u202fVoluntary Organisations Disability Group<\/span> <\/span>(<\/span> VODG<\/span>) W<\/span>e know <\/span>the funding <\/span>was <\/span>over subscribed<\/span> <\/span>and many organisations will have missed out on this opportunity <\/span>so we feel very lucky to have been successful in being awarded these tablets.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

T<\/span>he tablets come with 24gb of data, a case and a pen and we will be distributing them to people we support who have been identified as <\/span>being most in need.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe great thing about the Digital Lifeline Project is that it is not just about giving out free tablets, it is a project that equips organisations like <\/strong>Bethphage with<\/strong> the tools to support individuals to use the tablets safely and effectively, through training, goal setting and outcomes monitoring.\u201d <\/strong><\/em> <\/span><\/h4>\n<\/div>\n

Both Bethphage and the people who will receive the devices <\/span>will access<\/span> training through Ability Net.<\/span><\/p>\n

This project is a great example of different organisations working together to improve digital access for people with learning disabilities and <\/span>Bethphage feel privileged to be part of it<\/span>. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
