Exercise Equipment…

Following on from our “Better Health” Year in 2019, where we focused on supporting and enabling people to make healthy choices, we have continued to keep healthy lifestyles on our agenda.

Our GET SMART project, launched in 2021, allows for group fitness events for the people we support with our Smart Screens. We also want to encourage the people we support’s personal fitness interests, whether that be walking in the Shropshire hills, practicing Yoga, Zumba or cycling.

You can support us by donating to Friends of Bethphage to help us purchase backpacks for staff when they are out walking with the people we support, yoga mats to hold yoga sessions with our Smart Screens and other fitness equipment.

“Support plans were person-centred, up to date and reviewed regularly. People were involved in their reviews. One person said, “We’ve got my review coming up soon, we’ll talk about everything.” Plans guided staff to focus on the person’s well-being and what outcomes and goals they wanted to achieve.”
