BE Direct Film Project | Friends of Bethphage

BE Direct…

BE Direct aims to teach the people we support filmmaking and photography skills. From the initial planning and ideas to the directing and producing, the people we support are doing it all, supported by our Digital Outreach Worker, Tim.

Launched in 2022, this project is only just getting started. The BE Direct group have already started making short films at Oak Farm, ranging from mini movie trailers to a film about climate change. The team are already growing their skills in planning, filming and editing.

With BE Direct, we hope we can help the people we support grow in confidence and build a completely unique skillset in something they enjoy. We may soon have our very in-house media team made up of the people we support!

How Can You Help?

In order for our BE Direct project to grow we need your support! There are lots of ways you can show your support; from donating to Friends of Bethphage to help us purchase more filmmaking equipment to sharing the BE Direct films through our social media pages.

If you are a person or business that is interested in donating any film or camera equipment, please get in touch: marketing@bethphage.co.uk

“Support plans were person-centred, up to date and reviewed regularly. People were involved in their reviews. One person said, “We’ve got my review coming up soon, we’ll talk about everything.” Plans guided staff to focus on the person’s well-being and what outcomes and goals they wanted to achieve.”
