Female Support Workers- Telford

This vacancy is an exciting new opportunity for somebody to be part of a person-centered service in a positive behaviour organisation.

The person you will be supporting is an animal lover with a pet dog. Her dog is very important to her and staff will need to interact with him in a positive way.

Applicants must be patient, empathetic and work in a person-centered way to ensure the best outcomes for the individual.  You will be supporting the individual with domestic tasks, meal preparation and accessing the community.

This position is best suited to individuals who have experience of working with individuals with autism, they must be friendly, have a good sense of humor and be dedicated to providing person centered and positive support.

Due to the needs of this person, this vacancy is for female support workers only*.

Hours between 11 – 3 available

£9.00 per hour

Bethphage is a registered charity which was established in 1994 and provides support to adults with learning and physical Disabilities in Shropshire and the West Midlands.
Everything we do is individually designed to enable people to achieve their potential and meet their objectives and need for support. The people that we support may live in their own home, a home that is shared with other people, their family home or a shared care home.

Essential Requirements:

  • Full UK Driver’s License
  • Own car

Desirable requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2/3 Autism/learning disability
  • Experience of working with people with autism
