Bethphage are delighted to announce that on 10th February 2020, we became the new provider for Shropshire Council’s Shared Lives service. Shared Lives provides care and support for vulnerable adults in a family setting by matching each individual with carer(s), who welcome them into their home, providing person centered, flexible support in a nurturing environment.
Bethphage’s Head of Operations, Helen Burton explained:
“Bethphage are really excited to take on Shared Lives from the previous provider, Positive Steps who we know have provided a fantastic service. This is why we have spent the last few months working closely with Positive Steps and Shropshire Council to understand Shared Lives and the people involved. Once we have embedded the new service, we will be keen to take on new carers so please get in touch if you are interested in finding out more about Shared Lives.”
Shared Lives is based at our Head Office in Shrewsbury, 8 Longbow Close, Harlescott Lane, SY1 3GZ and comprises of a dedicated team of three Shared Lives Officers:
Who will be led by Ron Courson, the Shared Lives Manager.
Bethphage welcomes Alison, Genette & Ron to the organisation alongside Stacey, who joins Shared Lives from our PBS team! They are looking forward to getting to know the Shared Lives carers and the people they support over the next few months.
