It is the National Learning Disability and Autism Awards tomorrow evening and Bethphage is really excited as both our nominations have been shortlisted for awards. The Bethphage Positive Behaviour Support Team are nominated in the Positive Support Category and our Q Team Checkers are also up for an award.
Our 6 Q Team Members use their insight as people who have experience of receiving support from learning disability services to enhance and ensure authenticity to Bethphage’s quality audit processes by “checking the little things that matter.”
Our Positive Behaviour Support Team always feature highly at our staff awards so it is great to see their achievements being recognised not only externally, but nationally too! The nomination also vindicates our commitment to becoming a Positive Behaviour Organisation, using the PBS model as a constant thread throughout the organisation from service delivery to how we work and interact with each others and our partners. Our Positive Behaviour Support Assistant, Stacey Bourne said, “as a team we feel privileged and proud to receive this nomination and to represent Bethphage who have a true passion for Positive Behaviour Support.”
Receiving national recognition shows what fantastic work both teams have accomplished and demonstrates the high quality services that Bethphage provides.
