Our staff are supervised by experienced and qualified managers, who all have either a level 4 or 5 Management qualification, as well as extensive experience in learning disability services. Managers help with planning and ensuring that risk is managed with the person being supported, as well as ensuring that we adopt a robust and transparent approach to safeguarding through our whistleblowing policies.
As part of our commitment to providing control and choice for the people who use services, all support staff are selected with the direct involvement of people using services.
All support staff follow a detailed induction process, which is then augmented with level 3 training in health and social care using either the apprenticeship or diploma routes. Additional training to support specific service users and to develop enhanced skills will also be undertaken as part of Bethphage`s comprehensive and award winning approach to staff development.
