This is an exciting opportunity to apply for the positive Behaviour Support Manager Role. Bethphage is a Positive Behaviour Organisation, making PBS an important and valued aspect of our work. The PBS team is a finalist in the PBS category of the national learning disability and autism awards 2017.
Our current PBS manager is leaving us after six years and we are keen to open this opportunity to someone who has the skills and vision to continue and develop the excellent support that the manager and the team have delivered over the last six years.
The PBS team support people who present behaviours of concern, they work with the person, their team and other stakeholders to identify issues, analyse data, provide professional guidance, support and advice which follow the PBS pathway. The ultimate gaol for the PBS team is to increase quality of life for people who require additional positive behaviour support and enable the person to find positive and better ways of getting their needs met.
To support this gaol, the manager will work strategically ensuring that Bethphage develops practices which are conductive with PBS principles and develop and deliver training which extends the awareness, skills and competence of the staff employed by Bethphage.
You will need to educated to degree level and hold a relevant professional qualification level 4 or above in PBS or Health and Social Care teaching.
You will need to hold a full clean driving licence.
